They say beauty is in the { p i e } of the beholder. Crust me, the little gems being served up at Tiny Pies are just as tasty as they are adorable!

You can find the best mini pastries in the cutest pastel building on Burnet Road which just happens to be one of my all time favorite streets in the city! From the Upper Crust Bakery and the Noble Sandwich Co on one end to TopNotch and Yard Bar on the other, Burnet Road is dotted with must visit restaurants, food trucks, bakeries and more! Not to mention you can find some of the greatest thrift stores up and down this neighborhood.

Pie has always been at the top on my list of favorite desserts! Growing up our Grammy would make one of every type of pie from scratch when we would visit them in Canyon Lake. Then, as a college student, I worked at the Wimberley Pie Company where I learned that there is no better perk than free pie! The best part about these mini hold-in-the-palm-of-your-hand pies is that you can taste test a few different flavors opposed to one massive pie in a single type (which they also offer so check those out too). I guess you could say I was a little over excited!

There is something for everyone at Tiny Pies. My Husband ordered the Texas Two Step. It is a mix of pecan pie and chocolate brownie. I went for a more tart choice with the delectable Meyer Lemon Meringue. The second I dug into this tiny pastry I knew I made the right choice.

Stop on by this cute bakery for their year round flavors like traditional apple pie or go crazy with coconut creme and key lime. Their classics even include savory staples! Try Tiny Pie's Texas Pete (veggie chili w/ cornbread + cheddar crust) and spinach + ricotta pie or dig into their famous farmers market pot pie!
